Graham Blondel has been a professional artist since the 1970's. He has lived and worked in Bundeena for over 25 years.
His works are spontaneous abstractions utilising compels patterning and vibrant colour. He is inspired by urban kitsch, extensive travels and tribal art. Humour is also often present.
Graham has been the recipient of many awards and overseas residencies. He has had over 40 solo exhibitions both in Australia and overseas.
He paints in acrylic. His totemic sculptures are made from objects or are of painted animals. Collaged books are also a product of his continuous travel, collecting and enquiring mind.
